**Prerequisites must be completed 14 calendar days in advance of the course start date. If this prerequisite is not met, the participant will be automatically removed from the course.

Course Description:

The Self-Evaluator Certification/Recertification (SECOR) course is a required certification for professionals who are responsible for conducting audits for their employer – and is specific to small companies (10 employees or less) in the commercial transportation industry. A passed audit will result in the company achieving their Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR). Key topics addressed in this course include:

  • SECOR audit cycle
  • Required information and documentation
  • Proper evaluation responses
  • Management’s commitment
  • Scoring
  • Action plans

 

The SECOR course has been developed to help participants develop the skills and knowledge to be successful at the following:

 

  • Understanding the purpose and process of a SECOR
  • Understanding the SECOR process at AMTA
  • Understanding the information and documentation that must be submitted with a SECOR self-evaluation
  • Communicating SECOR self-evaluation questions that are clear and complete
