Course Description:
The Self-Evaluator Certification/Recertification (SECOR) course is a required certification for professionals who are responsible for conducting audits for their employer – and is specific to small companies (10 employees or less) in the commercial transportation industry. A passed audit will result in the company achieving their Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECOR). Key topics addressed in this course include:
- SECOR audit cycle
- Required information and documentation
- Proper evaluation responses
- Management’s commitment
- Scoring
- Action plans
The SECOR course has been developed to help participants develop the skills and knowledge to be successful at the following:
- Understanding the purpose and process of a SECOR
- Understanding the SECOR process at AMTA
- Understanding the information and documentation that must be submitted with a SECOR self-evaluation
- Communicating SECOR self-evaluation questions that are clear and complete
