Course Description:

NSC Program Management (NSCP-M) picks up where AMTA’s NSC Program Administration course left off – with an audit. Participants of this course will look at examples of issues commonly identified during a compliance audit. The purpose of this course is to help you answer the question “what do I do now?” Key topics addressed in this course include:

  • NSC legislation
  • Procedure development
  • Performance outcomes based on policy
  • Improvement plans
  • Data categorization and monitoring
  • Action implementation

 

NSCP-M was designed for professionals responsible for overseeing a carrier’s NSC program by developing the skills and knowledge to be successful at the following:

 

  • Using a simple model to improve an organization’s systems and performance: planning, doing, checking and acting
  • Understanding how to apply the information in the context of a commercial carrier
  • Planning for improvement and using policy to improve performance
  • Supporting action with effective procedures
  • Checking for improvements and identifying types of data (leading and lagging indicators)
  • Taking necessary actions based on information
